Shari'a Court in Scotland
From BritainNews.net: "Shari'a courts, which have been operational in England for more than a year now, will soon be set up in Scottish cities, like Edinburgh and Glasgow. Secret talks are said to be underway to bring these courts to the neighbouring country.

"Qamar Bhatti, director of the Muslim Arbitration Tribunal (MAT), which runs the courts, admitted secret discussions were taking place with lawyers and Muslim community groups in Scotland."

Most Western nations (except the United States) are considering or have already accepted Shari'a law in civil cases. In the UK for instance, cases against abusive husbands are heard before all-male tribunals of Muslim elders instead of in the courts, resulting in anger management classes instead of assault convictions.

Zunaira: I wonder how you would feel if/when your husband gets off scott free after abusing you...or you are not considered a full witness but only a half....and have to give up all property/money if you apply for divorce....all prescribed by the Sharia law of course.
