Purpose of Concessions

Islam is a political force, pressing all over the free world for more and more concessions and accommodations from non-Muslims. Each concession takes away freedoms for non-Muslims or gives power, privilege, or advantage to Muslims. In this way, practicing Muslims are invading from within.

It's a new kind of invasion, and to whatever degree they win, it is only because democracies are voluntarily (foolishly, ignorantly) conceding.

Our concessions allow them to keep chipping away at democracy. Their goal is to make every government follow Shari'a law, a repressive system of government. They are accomplishing it incrementally, one small concession at a time.

Take the Pledge

Some people say Islam is a religion of peace and that Islam has been hijacked by extremists, terrorists, and stealth jihadists who twist and distort the peaceful teachings of the Quran and quote it out of context.

Others say that political, supremacist, and even violent teachings are fundamental to Islam, and that people who say otherwise either haven’t read the Quran or are protecting Islam with religious deception (taqiyya).

The general confusion about the nature of Islam makes us collectively unable to make informed decisions. You can help end this confusion by reading the Quran. Stop believing what other people say and find out for yourself.

Take the Pledge: Read the Quran. Then convince everyone you know to read it too.

Concessions are Sharia

Every accomodation non-Muslims make for Muslims moves our culture, our beliefs, and our legal systems one step closer to Sharia law.

The concession itself is the establishment of Sharia law.

Let's look at an example. Around the world, Muslims react strongly when anyone criticizes Islam. Why? In Sharia law, it is forbidden to criticize either Islam or Mohammad. This is a precept of Sharia law.

Forbidding the criticism of any religion is certainly not a precept of a free society or of Western civilization. This means: To whatever degree Islamic supremacists succeed in silencing our criticisms of Islam, to that degree they have imposed Sharia law on non-Muslims.

Do you know what this means? When the U.S. government stops using words that even imply that Islam might have something to do with terrorism (out of their fear of offending Muslims), what has happened? Islamic supremacists have successfully imposed Sharia law on the U.S. government! This has already happened. Read about it here and here and here.

The primary directive of Islam is not to convert everybody, but to bring everybody on Earth under the rule of Sharia law, whether they like it or not. Ridiculous, right? How could it possibly happen? And yet, it is already happening right under our noses. The concessions on this site are a record of their success thus far.

Get Used To It, Kafirs

Meanwhile, standing by will be legions of Americans saying "What's the big deal? So they want to have a break a little early so they can pray! Let them have it! It doesn't mean America is becoming an Islamic state!" And of course it doesn't. But it does mean that step by step, day by day, little by little, Americans are being asked to make special accommodations for Islam and Muslims, to accept the idea that Muslims are not to conform to American practices, but American practices must give way for them. Little by little, in such small steps that no one notices or cares, a protected class is being formed, and Sharia established as non-negotiable. Where non-Muslims are inconvenienced, as are the non-Muslim Swift employees at Swift, by these concessions to Islamic practice, so be it. Tough. Live with it. Let it be. Muslims are above non-Muslims.

Fecundity as a Weapon

Sharia in America

THE FOLLOWING is an excerpt from an email by Guy Rogers, the executive director of Act! for America:

In a September 21st column, Washington Post columnist Eugene Robinson belittled Newt Gingrich for painting “Islam as the new Red Menace.” He dismissed any concern about a “stealthy insinuation of sharia into America’s legal system because no such thing is happening.”

And the kicker: “The ‘stealth jihadis,’ I suppose, must be like the ‘known communists’ on the list in Sen. Joseph McCarthy's hand.”

Robinson claims there is only one example of sharia here in America, the case of the New Jersey judge who ruled that a Muslim man committed no crime while beating and raping his wife, because he was acting consistent with his Islamic “practices.”

Robinson’s arrogance is exceeded only by his ignorance.

* Sharia has penetrated our financial system, in the form of sharia-compliant financial instruments offered by the likes of Citi Group and AIG. In an example of government accommodating sharia, Minnesota offers sharia-compliant mortgages for Muslims.

* Muslim prison employees, law enforcement officials, and even a Disneyland employee, have sued for the right to wear the hijab as part of their uniforms.

* Muslim parents in New Jersey are demanding private prayer rooms for their children in the PUBLIC elementary schools.

* According to a National Public Radio report in 2007, as many as 100,000 Muslims are living in polygamous marriages here in America.

* Harvard provided women-only gym hours to accommodate the demands of Muslims.

Of course, I could go on and on.

The Ground Zero Mosque imam was touted by politically correct elites as a paragon of interfaith tolerance. Now America knows Imam Rauf believes any government that does not practice sharia law is “unjust.”

Twenty years ago, those in the UK who spoke out against the coming of sharia were also ridiculed. Today there are some 85 sharia courts in the UK.

The playground antics of enablers like Robinson, who insist on calling names, conjuring up the demon of McCarthyism, and engaging in a foolish “see no sharia, hear no sharia, speak no sharia” will not change these facts nor diminish the threat.

But every time they launch into their sanctimonious condemnations of anyone who dares to expose the threat of stealth jihad, Islamists laugh at them behind their backs for being such dupes.

TIME Magazine Submits to Islam

In an article entitled, Is TIME a Muslim Magazine?, Phyllis Chesler writes about "the pro-Muslim/pro-Islamist and anti-Western propaganda" in a recent popular news magazine article. She writes:

Time magazine has an August 30 cover story titled “Is America Islamophobic?” Within, the article is titled: “Islam in America: It’s part of the fabric of life, but protests reveal a growing hostility to the religion of Muslims.”

One might wonder why any “hostility” to a productive, historically significant Muslim presence in America exists. Time magazine does not tell us.

The article portrays Muslims as innocent victims and American non-Muslims as prejudiced racists who, historically, once banned Catholicism, tried to limit immigration, burned African-American churches, passed anti-Chinese legislation, criminalized certain Native-American rituals (polygamy, rejection of modern medicine), spawned the Ku Klux Klan, failed to elect a Catholic president until 1960, allowed Father Coughlin’s anti-Semitic, pro-Nazi rants to appear over the airwaves, and interned 120,000 Japanese and Japanese-Americans during World War Two. This is all contained in Time’s “Brief History of Intolerance in America.”

This article could easily appear in an Egyptian or Syrian magazine; however it would be Israel that would be blamed for various alleged atrocities, and Palestinians, Hamas, Hezbollah, the Muslim Brotherhood, and even al-Qaeda who would be seen as the innocent victims.

Time magazine does not balance out their history of American intolerance with a history of American tolerance, which included separating the state from religion, reforming religions, instituting a tradition of free speech, fighting a bloody Civil War in order to free the slaves, giving women the vote and educational opportunities, freeing Europe from Nazi fascist rule and waging a Cold war against Soviet totalitarianism.

Also missing in the Time magazine article is the fact that Muslim leaders, in the name of Islam, have behaved very badly and for a very long time. Missing is an equal history of Muslim countries which have practiced colonialism, imperialism, forced conversions, slavery (which is still practiced), and a far more barbaric mistreatment of non-Muslims infidels.

Recently, Muslims, in the name of Islam, have hijacked planes, blown themselves and other people up, flown planes into tall buildings, plotted bomb attacks in New York City’s Times Square and over Detroit, shot American soldiers down on a military base in Texas, and plotted to do so on military bases in New York and New Jersey. In addition, mosques everywhere, even in the West, have been preaching death to the Jews, death to Zionists, infidels, and Jihad Now! These mosques and their imams or mullahs have been funded by Arab and Muslim pro-jihad financiers.

What a pathetic display of ignorance on the part of TIME Magazine. Ignorance or dhimmitude or taqiyya. Whatever it is, this is outrageous for such a mainstream magazine with a staff of fact-checkers at their disposal.

Free Speech: Use It Or Lose It

In 2005, Lars Vilks penned the infamous “Danish” cartoons. In 2006, global, choregraphed Muslim riots ensued, people died, newspapers boycotted the cartoons.

Publishers and authors began self-censoring, changing or backing out of contracts in order to avoid expensive lawsuits. Or worse.

In 2006, Palgrave-Macmillan reneged on its promise to publish "Quran: A Reformist Translation."

In 2007, the Cambridge University Press published "Alms for Jihad" but then immediately pulled books off the shelves to avoid a libel action lawsuit filed by the same sheikh who had sued Ehrenfeld.

In 2007, Canadian author Mark Steyn and his magazine, MacLeans, were summoned before the Canadian Human Rights Commission on charges that Steyn had “subjected Canadian-Muslims to hatred and contempt” and for “being flagrantly Islamophobic.”

Eventually, the Commission condemned Steyn but dismissed the charges for jurisdictional reasons. However, legal costs still had to be paid.

In 2008, Random House reneged on its contract to publish "The Jewel of Medina," a novel about Mohammed’s wife Aisha—and all because a single professor suggested via e-mail that the book “might lead to violence.”

Also, in 2008, Dutch politician, Geert Wilders, made a documentary, "Fitna," (translation: Strife), about Islam and anti-Western terrorism. Although Wilders’ just won a great electoral victory, he is currently facing government charges as a “racist” and purveyor of “hate speech.”

In 2009, ironically, Yale University Press published a book about the Danish cartoon controversy—but omitted the cartoons themselves without telling the author.

In 2010, the American author, Bruce Bawer and his Norwegian colleagues were accused of “racism” and “Islamophobia” by Norwegian leftists and Islamists; in June, 2010, the Norwegian government de-funded their excellent online website Human Rights Service which published work about Islam and women’s rights.

Finally, in June, 2010, the Public Prosecutor for Copenhagen charged the International Free Press Society and its president, Lars Hedegaard, with “racism.” Hedegaard dared to critique certain Muslim practices.

It is urgent that the West revamp our understanding of “hate speech” and “racism.” If we fail to do so, we will lose our right to free speech

Hollywood Concedes to Islam

IN AN ARTICLE entitled CAIR'S Hollywood Crusade, author Mark Tapson writes:

Since long before 9/11, CAIR has worked hard to steer Hollywood productions toward more and more sanitized depictions of Islam and Muslims, most famously in the 2002 film The Sum of All Fears, in which the filmmakers were convinced to swap out the original novel’s Islamic bad guys for a less politically insensitive choice, neo-Nazis (yawn). And yet CAIR was initially frustrated with Hollywood’s progress; at a White House rally almost exactly a year prior to the 9/11 attacks, Awad asserted that “Hollywood has not been our ally. Hollywood has distorted the facts. Hollywood has shown freedom fighters as terrorists. Hollywood has done the work that Zionists could not done [sic]...”

CAIR and pro-Islamist academics aren’t the only ones keeping up the pressure on Hollywood. Another Muslim Brotherhood front group, MPAC, the Muslim Public Affairs Council, even has a busy Hollywood Bureau, which educates (indoctrinates) filmmakers about Muslim customs and issues, offers script consultation (approval), and hands out awards to Hollywood people and projects whose work depicts Muslims and Islam in a favorable light (past winners have included Michael Moore and Alec Baldwin). The Bureau also seeks to “connect aspiring Muslim filmmakers, writers and actors to Hollywood professionals...”

Why is any of this important? Because while violent jihad is a serious issue, the cultural front is where this Clash of Civilization and Barbarism will be won or lost. Islamists who are patiently but assiduously working to tear down Western civilization are shrewdly crafting Hollywood’s subversive messages to the world. Is Hollywood as diligent in propagating a pro-American, pro-Western, anti-sharia narrative to export to the world?

An American Judge Applies Sharia Law

IT IS A Muslim's religious duty to strive to bring the whole world under the subjugation of Sharia law. Devout Muslims will continue to press for this until the end of time. One of the most common responses I get when talking to people is, "It can't happen in the United States."

It can and it does. Here is a good example.

An American judge in effect upheld Sharia law because a Muslim man under Sharia is allowed to force his wife to have sex with him. In American law that is rape. But the judge ruled otherwise, allowing Sharia to override American law.

Paying the Jizya With Willing Submission

The following is an excerpt from the article, How the Failure to Understand Jihad is Costing Americans Trillions:

There is the $75 billion that has been given to Egypt by the American government — for what, exactly? For continuing to give lip service to its "Peace Treaty" with Israel, while Egypt has steadfastly refused, once it had recovered the entire Sinai, to observe its solemn undertakings to end hostile propaganda and acts against the Jewish state. In fact, the government-controlled media in Egypt broadcast programs based on the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, as well as non-stop anti-Israel and anti-Jewish conspiracy theories. Egyptian public opinion is as anti-Israel, and in addition as anti-American, as any country could be — despite those $75 billion.

There is also the nearly $35 billion that is the true amount sent, as economic and military aid and debt forgiveness, to meretricious Pakistan. Pakistan for decades has been playing the Americans, since the heady days of the Dulles brothers who believed that Islam was "a bulwark against Communism."

Then there are the billions that have gone to Eastern Palestine, that is, Jordan, and to those Arab-occupied parts of Judea and Samaria, renamed by the Jordanians as "the West Bank." There the IDF helps maintain Arafat's successors, formerly his henchman, in pretend-power, so that they can continue to help themselves to a goodly portion of the billions in aid that the Americans and the Europeans continue to give, for some reason that is difficult to understand, to the most spoiled set of fake "refugees" in the world, the "West Bank" Arabs.

And other moneys have gone in the past to the Gazan Arabs, the other wing of the "Palestinians" who form the shock troops of the Jihad against Israel.

Muslim Ghettos Funded By U.S. Taxpayers

IN PHILADELPHIA, Kenny Gamble, the author of such hit songs as “Love Train” and “Me and Mrs. Jones,” and a convert to Islam, has managed to collect the $1.6 billion through Universal Company, a so-called “charitable organization,” which he formed in 1993. The money has come from federal grants, loans, and “charitable” gifts.

Gamble and his spokesmen say that the non-profit company provides a public service by cleaning up a blighted section of the south Philly, but local residents say Universal used the $1.6 billion to create a Muslim ghetto. The allegation is supported by Gamble, who said to his fellow Muslims: “We are not here for Universal, we are here for Islam.”

The 800 block of South 15th Street now contains an Islamic center and a madrassah, created and sustained by Universal Company. A local says: “You look up and down the street and see men, women and children in traditional Muslim dress everywhere; you see the (Islamic center) right across from Kenny's house and security guards on the corners in kufis (Muslim brimless hats).”

On the website , the directors of Universal Company betray their true intent by saying: “By the Blessing and Mercy of Allah (SWT), the efforts of Universal Companies serve as a national model for what can be done with commitment, compassion, focus and careful planning and execution.”

Gamble is affiliated with the National Ummah Movement which seeks to establish sovereign Islamic enclaves ruled by Shariah law within major cities throughout the U.S.

Penn Will Not Criticize Islam

In an interview with Penn Jillette (of Penn and Teller), he says something interesting about Islam:

Interviewer: Are there any groups you won't go after?

Penn: We haven't tackled Scientology because Showtime doesn't want us to. Maybe they have deals with individual Scientologists—I'm not sure. And we haven't tackled Islam because we have families.

Interviewer: Meaning, you won’t attack Islam because you’re afraid it’ll attack back.

Penn: Right, and I think the worst thing you can say about a group in a free society is that you’re afraid to talk about it—I can’t think of anything more horrific.

Interviewer: Of course, it might please some Islamic fundamentalists to hear you say that you won’t talk about them because you’re afraid.

Penn: It might, but you have to say what you believe, even it if pleases somebody you disagree with—that issue comes up all the time in moral discourse.

Update on PayPal Versus Atlas Shrugs

PAYPAL ORDERED Atlas Shrugs to remove PayPal from her site or it would shut her down. See the story here.

On Monday, after what Geller says was a storm of protest, PayPal backed down.

Geller said she received a phone call from PayPal early Monday morning informing her it had all been a “misunderstanding.”

“They called me back and said it was a misunderstanding and we’re all good,” Geller said. “They obviously received an overwhelming response.”

Geller decided to drop PayPal anyway and is using a service called Gpal, which does not discriminate as long as what you're doing is legal. Chalk up one victory for freedom.

PayPal Cuts Off Atlas Shrugs

FROM CREEPING SHARIA: PayPal is yet another Sharia-compliant dhimmi of an American company. Exposing and challenging Islam’s violent, supremacist and imperialist nature is considered blasphemous under Islamic Sharia law, and Muslims will not allow U.S. companies to expose their objectives.

The author of Atlas Shrugs, Pamala Geller, wrote: "PayPal is calling Atlas a 'hate' site and will close my account if I do not remove the PayPal option from my website. Accurate reporting and news is hate.

"Truth is the new hate speech."

Atlas reader Jon points out that inciters to violence and Jewish genocide, Revolution Muslim, has a PayPal button. (Islam in Action has the videos of their calls to jihad slaughter.)

PayPal also has no problem with the militant Islamist group linked to terrorism and led by the Sheikh Gilani who has been caught on video calling for Muslims to kill Americans in the U.S. PayPal details in this post.

U.S. Government Allows Muslims to Determine What American Textbooks Are Allowed To Say About Islam

I'm sure it sounded reasonable in the beginning — history book publishers of U.S. textbooks should consult with Muslims when they write anything about Islam, just to make sure it is correct. Check with the experts on the subject.

But the Muslims involved in influencing what is being taught to junior high and high school students in the United States are first of all, not history experts, and second of all, they are deliberately editing the information to give a falsely positive view of Islamic doctrine and history. In the interests of multiculturalism, some schools go much further and actually insist their students practice Islam!

Looking at the long term, if you were an Islamic supremacist and you wanted to soften up Americans for an eventual takeover, and if you wanted to keep them from stopping you until it's too late, you would be hard pressed to find a more promising project than influencing school children to think Islam is benign. These future American leaders and voters will not be very willing to learn about the real nature and scope of the third jihad.

Allowing Jihadis Too Much Influence

The Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) claims it represents "Moderate" Muslim Americans. But in an article by Daniel Pipes and Sharon Chadha in the Middle East Quarterly, they write, "Perhaps the most obvious problem with CAIR is the fact that at least five of its employees and board members have been arrested, convicted, deported, or otherwise linked to terrorism-related charges and activities."

The authors list the five and describe their crimes. Even though this is public knowledge, the whole mainstream establishment relies on CAIR. For example:

When President George W. Bush visited the Islamic Center of Washington several days after September 11, 2001, to signal that he would not tolerate a backlash against Muslims, he invited CAIR's executive director, Nihad Awad, to join him at the podium. Two months later, when Secretary of State Colin Powell hosted a Ramadan dinner, he, too, called upon CAIR as representative of Islam in America. More broadly, when the State Department seeks out Muslims to welcome foreign dignitaries, journalists, and academics, it calls upon CAIR. The organization has represented American Muslims before Congress. The National Aeronautics and Space Agency hosted CAIR's "Sensitivity and Diversity Workshop" in an effort to harmonize space research with Muslim sensibilities.

Law-enforcement agencies in Florida, Maryland, Ohio, Michigan, New York, Arizona, California, Missouri, Texas, and Kentucky have attended CAIR's sensitivity-training sessions. The organization boasts such tight relations with law enforcement that it claims to have even been invited to monitor police raids. In July 2004, as agents from the FBI, Internal Revenue Service, and Homeland Security descended on the Institute of Islamic and Arabic Sciences in America, a Saudi-created school in Merrifield, Virginia, a local paper reported that the FBI had informed CAIR's legal director, Arsalan Iftikhar, that morning that the raid was going to take place.

CAIR is also a media darling. It claims to log five thousand annual mentions on newspapers, television, and radio, including some of the most prestigious media in the United States. The press dutifully quotes CAIR's statistics, publishes its theological views, reports its opinions, rehashes its press releases, invites its staff on television, and generally dignifies its existence as a routine part of the American and Canadian political scenes.

CAIR regularly participates in seminars on Islamic cultural issues for corporations and has been invited to speak at many of America's leading universities, including Harvard, Stanford, Johns Hopkins, and Columbia. American high schools have invited CAIR to promote its agenda, as have educationally-minded senior citizens.

CAIR has successfully duped mainstream politicians and media, but their roots are deep in Islamic supremacism. The fact that anybody listens to CAIR is a concession beyond belief, given that anyone who can read can easily discover what they are really up to (read more about it here).

Muslim Violence Censors Western Media

In an excellent recent article by Bruce Bawer, author of While Europe Slept: How Radical Islam is Destroying the West from Within, he wrote about what happened during and shortly after the "cartoon riots." The riots were caused by some cartoons published in a Danish newspaper. The drawing to your right is one of them.

Because Islam forbids the artistic representation of people, and because the cartoon implied that Muslims might be violent, Muslims across Europe rioted violently to protest. When it was all over, 187 people were dead. Over cartoons.

But that's not all that happened. As Bawer writes:

Not a single newspaper in Britain reprinted the cartoons. And both the Swedish and Norwegian governments provided textbook cases of cowering dhimmitude. But none of that was really a surprise. What did surprise, and disappoint, me was the American political and media establishment. Both Bill Clinton and George W. Bush condemned the Jyllands-Posten cartoons out of hand. The State Department denounced them too, and only reversed itself after getting an earful from the Danish government, one of its few allies in Iraq. In the entire United States of America, exactly one major newspaper, the Philadelphia Inquirer, reprinted the cartoons. And while the major broadcast networks, as well as CNN, Fox News, and MSNBC, reported extensively on the cartoon riots, none of them ever showed the cartoons at all.

That is outrageous. And pathetic! With that kind of cowering political correctness at work, who needs enemies? This is still America, isn't it? Land of the free? Home of the brave?

Numerous Simultaneous Concessions to Islam in the United States

The following is a quote from Islamophilia by Marilyn Penn, who sees rampant Islamophilia rather than the alleged rampant Islamophobia:

In the business world, banks, insurance companies and meat packing plants have committed to creating prayer facilities and recognizing Muslim holidays as paid vacation days.

Distinguished universities such as Harvard and Michigan have set aside separate hours for Muslim gym use and installed ritual foot baths respectively.

Columbia University dignified Ahmadinejad by inviting him to address its polity as if his state sponsored terrorism and declared intention to destroy a fellow member of the UN were just innocuous opinions to be honored by our First Amendment.

New York has established the Kahlil Gibran School for Arabic language and culture; it remains unclear how separate this can be from religion in content or pedagogic personnel.

Prisons have been sued to provide services for individual sects of Islam as well as communal rooms for worship. All this while the Arab American community and its religious leadership have remained largely silent in the face of radical jihadist terrorism and threats, domestically and around the world.

Contrast this with the fervent, outspoken protests, boycotts, editorials and media assaults against our own country or its ally, Israel. And compare this with the scrutiny of organizations such as the ACLU in their determination to rid the public sector of any trace of God or organized western religions. Christianity and Judaism are routinely challenged for intruding their religious symbols into school or community space, and as we watch the Ten Commandments jettisoned from courthouse lobbies, we see the increased presence of Islamic symbolism gain its foothold. In New York, the veiled woman has now become a familiar sight in employment and on the urban canvas. Prior to 9/11, the only veiled women one might have seen were in Brooklyn or New Jersey, areas with large Muslim populations. Today, the ticket seller at a popular art theater in Manhattan wears a headscarf, as does the receptionist at my local gym — both unexpected venues for religious Muslims.

While Random House pre-emptively withdraws publication of a romantic novel that might be offensive to Muslims, and newspapers cravenly refuse to print the cartoons that satirized Mohammed, our museums and media delight in featuring anti-Christian and anti-Jewish dogma whenever they choose.

Feminist and gay lobbies have tackled the orthodoxy of western religions but refrained from attacking the homophobic and sexist foundations of Islam, keeping a safe distance from the repercussions of jihadists.

Civil Rights groups demand reparations for slavery in America while doing nothing to protest the current ongoing Muslim enslavement of blacks in Africa.

YouTube Accomodates Islam

The outspoken English videopundit Pat Condell (official web site here) has had his latest video blocked by YouTube. You can watch it by following the link below.

The most urgent message in his video is this: If you live in Britain please sign this petition against the creeping poison of Shari'a law.

Apparently YouTube, who has had some challenges with Turkey and Pakistan, have decided that it is easier to block "problematic" content themselves than standing up for freedom and have Pakistani Internet operators wreck havoc on them.

Known Terrorist Websites Operate in U.S.

Samir Khan from Charlotte, North Carolina, runs a website, inshallahshahid (also known as "Revolution"), which features videos of terrorists bombing US military vehicles, provides links to the writings of Al-Qaeda chiefs Osama bin Laden and Ayman al-Zawahiri, and praises “martyrdom bombers” who sacrifice their lives “for the sake of Islam”. Last October, the New York Times reported on Khan’s online efforts, observing that he is just one of many new faces of what Al-Qaeda calls the “Islamic Jihadi media”.

And yet, Khan continues running his website in the U.S.

The same is true for the popular Islamic website, Islamicity.com, which operates an entire video channel dedicated to Yemeni Al-Qaeda cleric and bin Laden mentor, Abd al-Majid Al-Zindani (the "Yemeni Shiekh of Hate"), who was listed by the US government as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist back in February 2004. Yet Islamicity is still active and online. Although the website is run by Human Assistance and Development International (HUDI), a tax-exempt not-for-profit organization based in Culver City, California, Islamicity has revenues of $10-50 million each year and is among the top 25,000 websites in the world. And it is backed by some heavy-hitters in the North American Islamic community, most notably Jamal Badawi and Abdullah Idris Ali, both on the board of directors of the Islamic Society of North America, which claims to be largest Islamic organization in North America.

Counterterrorism Concedes to Political Correctness

Six months ago, the growing surrender in the war of ideas by America's counterterrorism community was seen by the National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC) memorandum endorsing the DHS "terror lexicon" prohibiting the use of the terms such as "Jihad," "Islamist," and "mujahedeen." This milestone was part of a trend that has been growing for nearly two years. These are key terms in counterterrorism. The terrorists' Islamic doctrines are vital to knowing who the enemy is, what they're up to, and how to stop them.

In addition, an increasing number of counterterrorist organizations have been promoting analysts who support negotiations, rather than confrontation, with Islamic supremacists, and some voices are being marginalized or silenced. This growing surrender will require American citizens to increase their activism in demanding that their government representatives confront Jihad and Islamic supremacism. New Boston Mosque Plans to Broadcast Amplified Call to Prayer

The Islamic Society of Boston (ISB) has revealed that they intend to broadcast an amplified call to prayer throughout the neighborhood now that the Boston mosque is complete...but that's contrary to what two previous spokespeople assured the public when the mosque was still under construction.

The taxpayers of Boston subsidized the building of this mosque by "donating" a $2 million parcel of land to the ISB for less than $200,000 — a deal arranged when a member of the Boston Redevelopment Board also just happened to be a fundraiser for the ISB.

The ISB is notorious for its support of terror advocates like Mullah Al-Qawadari, who was the first prominent mullah to urge women to become suicide bombers, too. The ISB has actually distributed Al-Qawadari's teachings. And now, thanks to Mayor Menino, they've got a publicly-funded mosque to continue their work.

It looks like Boston will now face a similar situation to that faced in Hamtramck, Michigan, where the City Council waved the noise ordinances in deference to the mosque there). This is how it happens...one step at a time.

Prayer Breaks At Work

"In a landmark settlement that could change the way Muslims are treated in the workplace, St. Cloud-based Gold'n Plump Inc. has agreed to allow Somali workers short prayer breaks and the right to refuse handling pork at its poultry processing facilities," writes Chris Serres for the Minneapolis-St. Paul Star Tribune.

This seems like "reasonable and practical accommodation," says Robert Spencer, but "...when Islamic practices and American practices conflict, the American practices have to be the ones that give way. As this continues, it will cause increasing tension in the workplace and in society at large."

Wall Street Embracing Shari'a-Compliant Finance

As an important monograph on Sharia-Compliant Finance (SCF) recently issued by the McCormick Foundation (for copies contact the Center at www.SecureFreedom.org) makes clear, the investors running the SCF are, unsurprisingly, adherents to Shari'a. A number of them explicitly embrace its call to jihad (including a former senior member of the Dow Jones Islamic Index, Sheik Taqi Usmani). This "holy war" is to be waged where possible through violent means, where necessary through "soft" means like Shariah-Compliant Finance. For this reason, such Jihadis call SCF "financial jihad."

Earlier this year, David Yerushalmi, a litigator specializing in securities law and an expert on Shari'a, produced a legal memorandum (soon to appear in the University of Utah Law Review) examining the civil and criminal exposure inherent in Shari'a-Compliant Finance. His conclusion: banks and investment houses offering SCF products may be enabling or engaging in the following: racketeering, antitrust activity, securities fraud, consumer fraud and/or material support for terror.

What makes Shari'a-Compliant Finance dangerous is that in its effort to legitimize and institutionalize Shari'a in America, it is advancing a criminal conspiracy whose purpose is the violent overthrow of the United States Constitution and government in favor of Islamic rule. That would make it sedition.

Setting Precedents

As Robert Spencer put it: "...it's a small accommodation in itself, but it reinforces the precedent that American practices must give way to Muslim ones whenever they clash. Once that precedent is set, it does indeed lead to the Islamization of American society, unless at a certain point non-Muslims are willing to draw the line and say 'Thus far, but no farther. No more accommodation of Muslim demands.' That line will never be drawn, however, as long as Americans continue to fail to see the larger implications and inevitable outcome of these individual incidents."
