Purpose of Concessions

Islam is a political force, pressing all over the free world for more and more concessions and accommodations from non-Muslims. Each concession takes away freedoms for non-Muslims or gives power, privilege, or advantage to Muslims. In this way, practicing Muslims are invading from within.

It's a new kind of invasion, and to whatever degree they win, it is only because democracies are voluntarily (foolishly, ignorantly) conceding.

Our concessions allow them to keep chipping away at democracy. Their goal is to make every government follow Shari'a law, a repressive system of government. They are accomplishing it incrementally, one small concession at a time.

Take the Pledge

Some people say Islam is a religion of peace and that Islam has been hijacked by extremists, terrorists, and stealth jihadists who twist and distort the peaceful teachings of the Quran and quote it out of context.

Others say that political, supremacist, and even violent teachings are fundamental to Islam, and that people who say otherwise either haven’t read the Quran or are protecting Islam with religious deception (taqiyya).

The general confusion about the nature of Islam makes us collectively unable to make informed decisions. You can help end this confusion by reading the Quran. Stop believing what other people say and find out for yourself.

Take the Pledge: Read the Quran. Then convince everyone you know to read it too.

Concessions are Sharia

Every accomodation non-Muslims make for Muslims moves our culture, our beliefs, and our legal systems one step closer to Sharia law.

The concession itself is the establishment of Sharia law.

Let's look at an example. Around the world, Muslims react strongly when anyone criticizes Islam. Why? In Sharia law, it is forbidden to criticize either Islam or Mohammad. This is a precept of Sharia law.

Forbidding the criticism of any religion is certainly not a precept of a free society or of Western civilization. This means: To whatever degree Islamic supremacists succeed in silencing our criticisms of Islam, to that degree they have imposed Sharia law on non-Muslims.

Do you know what this means? When the U.S. government stops using words that even imply that Islam might have something to do with terrorism (out of their fear of offending Muslims), what has happened? Islamic supremacists have successfully imposed Sharia law on the U.S. government! This has already happened. Read about it here and here and here.

The primary directive of Islam is not to convert everybody, but to bring everybody on Earth under the rule of Sharia law, whether they like it or not. Ridiculous, right? How could it possibly happen? And yet, it is already happening right under our noses. The concessions on this site are a record of their success thus far.

Get Used To It, Kafirs

Meanwhile, standing by will be legions of Americans saying "What's the big deal? So they want to have a break a little early so they can pray! Let them have it! It doesn't mean America is becoming an Islamic state!" And of course it doesn't. But it does mean that step by step, day by day, little by little, Americans are being asked to make special accommodations for Islam and Muslims, to accept the idea that Muslims are not to conform to American practices, but American practices must give way for them. Little by little, in such small steps that no one notices or cares, a protected class is being formed, and Sharia established as non-negotiable. Where non-Muslims are inconvenienced, as are the non-Muslim Swift employees at Swift, by these concessions to Islamic practice, so be it. Tough. Live with it. Let it be. Muslims are above non-Muslims.

Fecundity as a Weapon

Welfare For Multiple Wives

In Britain, husbands with multiple wives have been given the go-ahead to claim extra welfare benefits following a year-long Government review. Even though bigamy is a crime in Britain, the decision by ministers means that polygamous marriages can now be recognized formally by the state, so long as the weddings took place in countries where the arrangement is legal.

The outcome will chiefly benefit Muslim men with more than one wife, as is permitted under Islamic law (Shari'a). Ministers estimate that up to a thousand polygamous partnerships exist in Britain, although they admit there is no exact record.

Britain's concession is helping Jihadis fulfill one of their most important goals: To gain a numerical advantage. (Read more about their goals.)

Creeping Sharia in the UK

We received the following message from a doctor in the UK. He was having trouble posting a comment on Citizen Warrior, and we asked him to email the comment to us so we could post it. Here is his reply (printed with his permission), which is a personal perspective on the experience of living in a country in the process of Islamization:

I'm sorry, but my PC deletes immediately messages I send, in case anyone catches me maligning Islam (it is actually against the law here to malign Islam, and folks get fined or jailed for it).

The Organisation of Islamic Conference demanded that Western countries make it illegal to offend "religions", but by that they meant Islam so Holland and France and the UK set up laws to protect Islam. We are forced to eat halal food, for there is only ONE supermarket chain (Morrison's) that sells non-halal and if you don't live near one, it's tough luck.

All our schools, hospitals, supermarkets, takeaways, sandwich shops are halal (acceptable to Muslims) food. I will die before I eat food offered to a false God, and when an animal has suffered to give me meat.

Our police dogs have to wear special "booties" before going in a Muslim's house, and the police have to give the imam notice so he can meet them and escort them around the Muslim's home, but by then all the evidence is gone because the Imam has warned the Muslim.

They are walking over us all here in England. We even have to clear the pool because Muslim days are given priority, and one council in London "Tower Hamlets" is run by Muslim councillors who fiddled the postal voting system and piled in countless false votes from dead Muslims and those who live in Pakistan to cheat us. Our government was too afraid to cancel the election, and the Muslims "won".

They are the most dishonest, vile people you can imagine when they are in their masses...don't let them do this to USA.

Free Speech: Use It Or Lose It

In 2005, Lars Vilks penned the infamous “Danish” cartoons. In 2006, global, choregraphed Muslim riots ensued, people died, newspapers boycotted the cartoons.

Publishers and authors began self-censoring, changing or backing out of contracts in order to avoid expensive lawsuits. Or worse.

In 2006, Palgrave-Macmillan reneged on its promise to publish "Quran: A Reformist Translation."

In 2007, the Cambridge University Press published "Alms for Jihad" but then immediately pulled books off the shelves to avoid a libel action lawsuit filed by the same sheikh who had sued Ehrenfeld.

In 2007, Canadian author Mark Steyn and his magazine, MacLeans, were summoned before the Canadian Human Rights Commission on charges that Steyn had “subjected Canadian-Muslims to hatred and contempt” and for “being flagrantly Islamophobic.”

Eventually, the Commission condemned Steyn but dismissed the charges for jurisdictional reasons. However, legal costs still had to be paid.

In 2008, Random House reneged on its contract to publish "The Jewel of Medina," a novel about Mohammed’s wife Aisha—and all because a single professor suggested via e-mail that the book “might lead to violence.”

Also, in 2008, Dutch politician, Geert Wilders, made a documentary, "Fitna," (translation: Strife), about Islam and anti-Western terrorism. Although Wilders’ just won a great electoral victory, he is currently facing government charges as a “racist” and purveyor of “hate speech.”

In 2009, ironically, Yale University Press published a book about the Danish cartoon controversy—but omitted the cartoons themselves without telling the author.

In 2010, the American author, Bruce Bawer and his Norwegian colleagues were accused of “racism” and “Islamophobia” by Norwegian leftists and Islamists; in June, 2010, the Norwegian government de-funded their excellent online website Human Rights Service which published work about Islam and women’s rights.

Finally, in June, 2010, the Public Prosecutor for Copenhagen charged the International Free Press Society and its president, Lars Hedegaard, with “racism.” Hedegaard dared to critique certain Muslim practices.

It is urgent that the West revamp our understanding of “hate speech” and “racism.” If we fail to do so, we will lose our right to free speech

UK Allows Unfair Treatment to Women if They're Muslim

PRACTICING MUSLIMS constantly push for concessions. In the UK, officals have capitulated by allowing Sharia courts within the UK to function, but "only" for domestic issues (marriage, divorce, inheritance, child custody, etc).

But a new report, Sharia Law in Britain, shows that family law is strongly biased against women. In Sharia's civil code, "a woman's testimony is worth half of a man's. A man can divorce his wife by repudiation, whereas a woman must give justifications, some of which are difficult to prove. Child custody reverts to the father at a preset age; women who remarry lose custody of their children even before then; and sons inherit twice the share of daughters." This is standard Sharia law.

The UK Sharia courts "operate as tribunals under the Arbitration Act, making their rulings binding in UK law."

"Sharia councils will frequently ask people to sign an agreement to abide by their decisions. Councils call themselves courts and the presiding imams are judges. There is neither control over the appointment of these judges nor an independent monitoring mechanism. People often do not have access to legal advice and representation. Proceedings are not recorded, nor are there any searchable legal judgements. Nor is there any real right to appeal.

"In this way, these privatised legal processes were ignoring not only state law intervention and due process but providing little protection and safety for the women."

Muslims Demand it and Europe Concedes to Limits on Free Speech

IN EUROPE, the proportion of the population following Islam is fairly large. And as usual, demands for accomodating Muslims are increasingly urgent. Here are some examples of freedoms given away (from an article in Reason magazine):

In January, the World Culture Museum in Gothenburg, Sweden, took down a painting, Scène d'amour, described by its artist, Louzla Darabi, as a "response to Muslim hypocrisy about sexuality, above all women's sexuality"; in October, London's Tate Gallery removed John Latham's God Is Great, a work that incorporated copies of the Bible and the Koran. (Latham accused the gallery of cowardice.)

In May, ruling on a petition by the Muslim Union of Italy, a magistrate in the northern Italian city of Bergamo ordered writer Oriana Fallaci to stand trial for vilifying Islam in her book The Force of Reason. (She had previously been acquitted on a similar offense in France.) In September, the European Court of Human Rights affirmed a Turkish court's conviction of a publisher for issuing a novel, Abdullah Riza Ergüven's Yasak Tümceler, that purportedly "insulted the Prophet and religion."

In April, after virtually no public discussion, Norway's Parliament passed a law that punishes offensive remarks about any religion with up to three years' imprisonment — and places the burden of proof on the accused. Three months later, Britain's House of Commons approved a bill that would criminalize "words or behavior" that might "stir up racial or religious hatred."

For some Europeans in the expression business, government limits haven't been necessary: they've opted for self-censorship. After being "warned by Muslim friends" shortly after van Gogh's murder, Dutch movie director Albert Ter Heerdt decided to "postpone" a sequel to his "multicultural comedy" Shouf Shouf Habibi! And in January producer Gijs van de Westelaken canceled a screening of Submission at the Rotterdam Film Festival, whose theme was "censored films." (Instead, the audience saw two pictures sympathetic to suicide bombers.)

Muslims in Hospitals Don't Have to Follow Rules of Cleanliness

MORE POWERFUL in the long run than bombs and terror, waging jihad by gaining concessions is designed to gradually establish Sharia law everywhere on earth. Here's yet another concession Islam has won from non-Muslims: As of two months ago, female Muslim staff in British hospitals are now allowed to cover their arms to preserve their modesty despite earlier guidance that all staff should be "bare below the elbow."

This change has come about because "female Muslims objected to being required to expose their arms below the elbow."

The purpose of the original rules was to "reduce the number of patients who were falling ill, and even dying, from superbugs such as MRSA and Clostridium difficile." Oh well, people may get sick and die, but at least the Muslims are happy. It will be mostly infidels getting sick anyway.

Less Freedom For Muslim Women in Britain

AN INFLUENCIAL group of Muslims in Great Britain have been pushing for concessions to Islam, and getting them, to the detriment of women.

Women’s rights campaigner Yasmin Rehman said: "We Muslims have been a part of the UK for many, many years but the generations before me did not feel the need for or call for segregation in the way that is being demanded now.

"At the beginning of my career as a women’s rights advocate there was no need to apply for a certificate of Khula in divorce cases. Muslim women are now being told that divorces under the English legal system are not valued or recognised without a certificate of Khula – and should they remarry without this they will be committing Zina – a 'crime' punishable by death in many Muslim countries. This is not a view shared by all Islamic scholars but a view that is being pushed through the Islamic councils and tribunals across the UK."

Parliment Concedes After Being Threatened

Here's what happened in Britain: A member of the House of Lords invited Geert Wilders to a private meeting in the Palace of Westminster. "She had intended to invite her colleagues in the Lords to a private viewing of his ‘documentary’ Fitna," says Archbishop Cranmer, "followed by discussion and debate in true parliamentary fashion. This is, after all, a liberal democracy, and their lordships enjoy the rights of freedom of expression and freedom of association, not to mention certain parliamentary privileges for the protection of their function in the legislature."

But after the House member sent out the invitations, Lord Ahmed "threatened to mobilize 10,000 Muslims to prevent Mr. Wilders from entering the House," says Cranmer, and he threatened to take her to court.

And here is the shocking capitulation: The showing of Fitna was canceled after this threat! Are these the same British who defeated Hitler? Unbelievable. You would think they would make SURE they had the showing because of the threat. Maybe even try to triple attendance for good measure. But no. They conceded. The threat of Muslim violence within their own country made the leaders of Britain give up without a fight.

Muslim Violence Censors Western Media

In an excellent recent article by Bruce Bawer, author of While Europe Slept: How Radical Islam is Destroying the West from Within, he wrote about what happened during and shortly after the "cartoon riots." The riots were caused by some cartoons published in a Danish newspaper. The drawing to your right is one of them.

Because Islam forbids the artistic representation of people, and because the cartoon implied that Muslims might be violent, Muslims across Europe rioted violently to protest. When it was all over, 187 people were dead. Over cartoons.

But that's not all that happened. As Bawer writes:

Not a single newspaper in Britain reprinted the cartoons. And both the Swedish and Norwegian governments provided textbook cases of cowering dhimmitude. But none of that was really a surprise. What did surprise, and disappoint, me was the American political and media establishment. Both Bill Clinton and George W. Bush condemned the Jyllands-Posten cartoons out of hand. The State Department denounced them too, and only reversed itself after getting an earful from the Danish government, one of its few allies in Iraq. In the entire United States of America, exactly one major newspaper, the Philadelphia Inquirer, reprinted the cartoons. And while the major broadcast networks, as well as CNN, Fox News, and MSNBC, reported extensively on the cartoon riots, none of them ever showed the cartoons at all.

That is outrageous. And pathetic! With that kind of cowering political correctness at work, who needs enemies? This is still America, isn't it? Land of the free? Home of the brave?

Britain Allows Foreigners To Defend It

In Britain, the Equality Commission says it would be a violation of the Race Relations Act to treat foreigners less favorably than British citizens by limiting how many foreigners can be in the British armed forces.

The British Army wanted no more than 15 percent of their national army made up of non-British soldiers, which in my mind is already way too high.

But multiculturalism may force them to fill their ranks with people who may not feel loyal to Britain. That is multiculturalism-induced insanity. If Jihadis are behind this (staffing the Equality Commission or pressuring them), I wouldn't be surprised. But it is often hard to tell the difference between what hardcore Jihadis are trying to accomplish and what multiculturalists are trying to accomplish. The multiculturalists are so committed to "Why can't we all just get along?" they are perfectly willing to sell our freedom and security to make it happen.

Concessions All Over Europe

This is from a speech by Geert Wilders, chairman of the Party for Freedom in the Netherlands:

In some elementary schools in Amsterdam the farm can no longer be mentioned, because that would also mean mentioning the pig, and that would be an insult to Muslims. Many state schools in Belgium and Denmark only serve halal food to all pupils. In once-tolerant Amsterdam gays are beaten up almost exclusively by Muslims. Non-Muslim women routinely hear “whore, whore”. Satellite dishes are not pointed to local TV stations, but to stations in the country of origin.

In France school teachers are advised to avoid authors deemed offensive to Muslims, including Voltaire and Diderot; the same is increasingly true of Darwin. The history of the Holocaust can in many cases no longer be taught because of Muslim sensitivity. In England, Shari'a courts are now officially part of the British legal system. Many neighborhoods in France are no-go areas for women without head scarves. Last week a man almost died after being beaten up by Muslims in Brussels, because he was drinking during the Ramadan. Jews are fleeing France in record numbers, on the run for the worst wave of anti-Semitism since World War II (Muslims follow their Prophet in an extreme hatred of Jews, see comments to this article).

Making Muslim Employees Happy

Personnel Today, a publication for managers of businesses, encourages managers and CEOs to accommodate Islamic practices so their Muslim employees are happy, including going out of their way to create bonus plans that do not earn or charge interest. Special concessions should be made to Muslims, it says. Why? Why are concessions being constantly made? Because they demand them. And they will keep pushing for concessions until the whole world is Islamic. Does that sound ridiculous? Think again.

Britain Concedes by Ordering Books Burned

The film below documents the true story of how an American-Israeli author Dr. Rachel Ehrenfeld was ordered to destroy all copies of her book in a country where it had never been published — England — after a notoriously litigious Saudi billionaire sued her in a British court. Ehrenfeld's book Funding Evil, Updated: How Terrorism is Financed and How to Stop It, accuses the Saudi billionaire of funding of terrorism. The film is 8 minutes long.

Britain is Giving In to the Cultural Aggressiveness of Islam

In many ways, Islam is creeping its way into British society, as the film below demonstrates (length: 6:49). But at least one study shows that most British Muslims don't want Shari'a law. A lot of British Muslims moved to Britain to escape it. Yet it might be foisted on them anyway by political leaders.

It's clear that multiculturalism and political correctness have backfired badly. The hardcore Jihadis have not been assimilated, but the nation's confidence in democracy and their own cultural values has been sapped, and its will to resist the cultural aggressiveness of Islam has been weakened.

Book Distributor Concedes Freedom of Speech

Publisher Roger Kimball has noted that when he was about to publish "Andy McCarthy's Willful Blindness: Memoir of the Jihad," he received a message from a distributor working in the U.K. and Canada asking if there were "any references to Saudis and terrorist(s) in the book" as that "could potentially create libel lawsuits as it could offend Saudis living in England and this has happened with many other U.S. publications and we do not want to be jeopardized in selling this book."

On the plus side, the publisher did not concede. He published the book.

Britain Knowingly Tolerates Sedition

A year-and-a-half after the critically acclaimed film Undercover Mosque was first screened, Dispatches goes undercover again to see whether extremist beliefs continue to be promoted in certain key British Muslim institutions.

Their findings: Nothing has changed. The mosque still promotes violent jihad against non-Muslims, it encourages murder and intolerance, and it promotes Shari'a, which means it advocates the overthrow of the British government (sedition).

Ramadan Accomodation For Terrorists

September, 2008: A British prison spent £25,000 (44,740 U.S. dollars) to buy lunch boxes for Muslim terrorists and criminals.

The containers were handed out to nearly 250 inmates (including the infamous Abu Hamza in the picture here) to keep their dinners warm in their cells during the Muslim festival of Ramadan.

The bright yellow metal flasks were issued to all Muslim prisoners in London’s top-security Belmarsh Jail — which houses scores of convicted and suspected terrorists.

Shari'a Court In Britain

The Muslim Arbitration Tribunal has used Shari'a law to settle more than 100 civil disputes between Muslims across the UK since it opened last December.

The tribunal, which runs along side the British legal system, was set up by scholars and lawyers at Hijaz College Islamic University in Watling Street, Nuneaton.

Mind you, the purpose of jihad is to establish Shari'a law throughout the world, a repressive, sixth-century system of justice. Jihadis push and push, through violence or through more stealthy ways, and they keep pushing as long as it takes, until they find a crack, and they push in the wedge. That's jihad.

Britain conceded this time. Let's hope she reverses her decision and sins no more.

Setting Precedents

As Robert Spencer put it: "...it's a small accommodation in itself, but it reinforces the precedent that American practices must give way to Muslim ones whenever they clash. Once that precedent is set, it does indeed lead to the Islamization of American society, unless at a certain point non-Muslims are willing to draw the line and say 'Thus far, but no farther. No more accommodation of Muslim demands.' That line will never be drawn, however, as long as Americans continue to fail to see the larger implications and inevitable outcome of these individual incidents."
